That was very nice of Sally to do that for you. What a great memory you have of that number for two reasons. I noticed also that you were requesting prayers for your brother. I am assuming that is a current post.. Hoping that all is going well for him.

Wayne, not sure of his first name but the guy giving these passes out was a Boyd.

Hubert Breeze

As to him working for the Newspaper....He did work for the paper there in the fall of 1960..Not sure when they left the area to go to Greensboro..He was a photographer but not sure what else he might have done with the paper.

They are the niece and nephew of my sister in law Joyce Breeze Wilson. I can contact her tomorrow and see. I know Mary Breeze who used to be a teacher at HHS is in Greensboro. That is where the family moved when they left Hamlet. Their Dad Hubert Breeze has passed away... I will write you at the add...

The dime store on Main Street next to Mabry's may have been run by Mr. Cade who later had a dime store in Laurinburg...IF it was sold to Harrington's it was Vernon and Elsie Harrington. I worked there in 1964-65. Vernon was part owner of Wilson-Harrington Funeral Home. As far as I know the store is ...
