Re: 1965 Water Tank

But as the police rode around the triangle with a soptlight, they all walked around on the opposite side of the tank. I never...

I Googled and found some info. According to Eunice's obituary, Pam was married to a Stewart Reed, so you were close. They show to still live in Laurinburg. Address shows as 12181 Pine Harbor Rd, Laurinburg NC 28352 and phone 910-276-6151.....how's that for investigative reporting !

Really interesting reading what you all have posted on this subject. So much I had not heard even though so many in my family worked for the Seaboard. My grandpa Clemmer could have been the conductor on one of those trains. To bad there is not a book written tying in these and other Hamlet / Seaboar...

TThomas, glad you chimed in and provided the name. Had been racking my brain ever since ( having a senior moment or two I guess) so glad to know. May be bad memory but did he not have an old classic car ( A model or something similar) that he drove around town some? He was always so kind to me even ...

Sure do remember. Cannot remember the nice white head gentleman who ran it when I was a kid. But when I got in my grandfather's ( Arb Clemmer) way too much, he would send me down on my bike to by a left handed hammer or can of stripped paint. He would always tell me they were out but would have some...

Those photos sure bring back great memories. I lived on Jefferson St. and we sure loved sledding with everyone. Still have my old sled from those days but would be afraid after 40 years to use it again
