No, Lynn, that isn't Bruce. This photo was furnished by a fellow from up near Fayetteville who courted the girl in the middle. He hitchhiked to Hamlet some weekends to spend a little time with her. And I understand the fellow on the left courted the girl on the right for a while. All three of those shown lived in Hamlet.

I think that's Joe Blalock on the left.

Nope. Not Joe Blalock.

I believe the girls graduated HHS 1957.

With that hint, I then have a guess for the girl in the middle. Could she be Rebecca 'Becky' Smith?

This photo shows the girls better. Don't worry about the fellow with them, he's the one from Fayetteville.

Yeah, I remember that one from earlier.

Now I'll wait for someone to id the current posting. Feel like I should recognize someone in that photo though, but it does go back a ways.

Cynthia O'Brien is the Sister of Rick O'Brien, she is now retired as a V.A. nurse from the Fayetteville Hospital, My Dad Dan Smith called her Bea after her Mom ,Cynthia was Dan's nurse for the 4 or so year's he was there
