If you worked on the SAL RR, you probably have been inside this building.
Today, it is occupied by the Veterans Administration a Division of the Dept. of Administration in Raleigh, NC

I see a Billingsley, couldn't make out the first name, but probably a brother or BT Billingsley, cause I remember BT had told me one of his brothers had been killed in WWII, another of BT's brothers was killed on the Railroad in Hamlet Yard in the Oiling pits I was working on the RR when he got crushed to death by cars that derailed and fell on the Oiling Pit he was in

It was E.O. Billingsley, Ernest Oscar Billingsley. He was my father, B.T. Billingsley's brother.

TerriD,
Scroll up to the bronze plaque, page 1 above. Enlarge and notice the initial is a “B”
Someone by mistake thought his initial “E” looked like a “B” which was an oversight.
