1945-46 Hamlet High Girl's Basketball Team

This image is of the Hamlet Girls Basketball Team of 1945-46. Unfortunately, I know only two of the names of the persons in this photo. They are: Lettye Maxwell (later Brown) who is third from the left standing and Lorena Kirkley (later Christian), who is second from right standing. Lettye is my beloved aunt and Lorena a cousin, is deceased. I know some of you must know the names of these other ladies. Thanks for your help. Wayne Cosby

All I can say is YOWZA!!! I sure glad I came after them there days! It looks as if a mortuary chipped in on those uniforms.

Front row Left resembles a Roofe. Front row Far Right is Sara Livingston(Monty's Mother) and next to her is Sara Howell.

Standing 3rd from the right looks like it could be Janice Hubbard Eason.

The one on the front left is Eric's mom, Dorothy Gaddy Freeman. Sarah Gaddy Howell farther down on the front row was her sister.

Front row- next to the player on the far right holding ball is Sarah Gaddy.
