Actually this is the "new" Bradshaw's in the late '60s and early '70s. You can see the lighted menus over the counter through the windows.
Before it became a hamburger joint, Bradshaw's was a tiny grocery, but Mr. Bradshaw followed what his customers -- mostly school kids from across the street -- wanted and moved more toward serving food and drinks himself.
School kids had no use for a loaf of bread. Snowballs and 16-ounce Pepsis were big sellers from the grocery, especially on hot days after baseball or football practice.
