When we moved to Longwood Park in 1950, there was a Mr. Green, who lived on old hwy77 in a house and store with a daughter named Carol, but I never knew his first name nor did he run a store then, maybe he is the Howard Green he also moved to High St. next to Crow's Store the house he moved from in Longwood Park, would become ''The Jot-Em-Down'' ran by Ralph Peele and wife Mildrew Taylor Peele They had 2 sons Bruce and Jimmie a daughter named Kay
Mrs. Nolan's son was named Bus not Buzz and he had a son named Frankie and her daughter Neda was married to Ernest King, Hamlet Police Chief and they lived next door to the store.
The Wootons lived on Paige St. in Longwood Park when we lived there John, and Porshe both were clerk's on the Railroad and George who was drafted by the NY Jet's, got hurt the first week of tryout's and a man by the name of Joe Namath took his place at QB and we all know the rest of that story
