Those photos sure bring back great memories. I lived on Jefferson St. and we sure loved sledding with everyone. Still have my old sled from those days but would be afraid after 40 years to use it again

I remember one year the HFD hosed the hill. You could go almost to the RR tracks. It was quite a walk back up the hill too. I think it lasted over a week. As long as I lived in town I don't remember another snow like that one. We also found out that MD 20/20 and snow made quite the treat!!

My heavens...it is like going back in time... looks like some things don't change. I loved growing up in Hamlet.
