A&P 1935
Does anybody know where the A&P was located in 1935. I had an old News Messenger with this ad but I don't know where it was located. Maybe this isn't the right place to put it but what are you going to do - kick me off the site?

I think the old A&P store sat on the east side of Lackey St.

A&P in 1935 was located on Hamlet Ave. next to Rose's 5 & 10 (west).

TR4, yer making me blush. Ticker ain't where it needs to be yet but I'm still on the green side, so I'm happy. I think the store on Lackey Street was the Red & White, used to ride go-carts in the parking lot.

The only place remember the A &P was was in the '60's on Main St. about were Café on Main is now

Think you are right TR4, I remember Mr. Austin Zero's Dad won a brand new 57 Ford there ever how much money you spent there you got X amount of ticket's he had the wining ticket and with 6 children he spent alot[, they had a fairly new 56Ford at the time/b]
